Netanyahu tells US 'time has run out' on Iran diplomacy

In a sign that tensions are flaring and time is running short on Iran, it is being reported that sparks are flying in the meeting rooms between Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and the Obama administration. An article today points out the escalating tension in the air as the Obama administration continues to sit on its collective hands and does nothing about the ongoing problem with Iran's nuclear program. Reports have it that PM Netanyahu has given Washington a piece of his mind on the subject by declaring that "time has run out" for Iran. The Jerusalem Post reports:
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu got into a diplomatic shouting match with US Ambassador Dan Shapiro over US President Barack Obama's handling of Iran's nuclear program, saying "time has run out" for diplomacy, Yediot Aharonot cited a source as saying on Friday. According to the report, which The Jerusalem Post could not independently verify, the showdown took place as Netanyahu met with Shapiro and Republican Congressman Mike Rogers, who visited Israel earlier in the week.
A source that participated in the meeting said that a particularly angry and stressed Netanyahu began a tirade against the US president, attacking him for not doing enough on Iran. "Instead of pressuring Iran in an effective way, Obama and his people are pressuring us not to attack the nuclear facilities," the source quoted Netanyahu as saying.
As many of us know, there has been a feeling among Bible prophecy watchers that Obama could potentially "give up" on stopping Iran as they have continued to try to pressure Iran with sanctions, etc. Iran for it's part has been able to skirt the sanctions by covertly trading and dealing with it's friends. This has helped to soften the blow of international sanctions and in turn has allowed Iran to continue to keep building it's nuclear program. The Obama adminsitration appears to be turning a blind eye towards the growing Iranian nuclear threat. Sure, Obama sends some warships into the Persian Gulf every now and then to "show he means business" and then proceeds to send them right back out. Iran has gotten use to this game and as a result is convinced that the Obama administration will do nothing to stop them. And sadly, so far they have been right.
So where does the issue of PM Netanyahu getting irritated about the situation mean? I think it could possibly mean that Netanyahu realizes that he has been misled by the self -serving Obama adminsitration and has put off what will be the inevitable strike on Iran. Right now, the only thing Obama is concerned with his the November elections. I truly don't think he personally has any plan to do anything about Iran. And how does that thought go along with Bible prophecy? It actually fits pretty well. In the Ezekiel 38-39 scriptures we see that the nations observing the conflict sit on the sidelines and throw a "mild protest" asking if the invaders are going for a prey and spoil. This to me says that the West will do nothing when the times comes for Ezekiel 38-39. Which in turn means to me that they don't help Israel do anything about the Iranian nuclear program. Because a strike on the Iranian nuclear program could potentially be a good reason for Russia and it's moslem allies to make their move foretold in Ezekiel 38-39.
The Jerusalem Post article goes on to further report:
Angered about continued US rhetoric that diplomacy needs more time to work, Netanyahu said flatly: "Time has run out," Yediot reported. The American ambassador is said to have responded politely but firmly, telling Netanyahu that he was distorting Obama's position. Obama promised not to allow Iran to obtain nuclear weapons, he explained, and left all options on the table, including military options. At that point, diplomatic sources told the paper, "sparks flew" in an escalating shouting match between Netanyahu and Shapiro as the stunned congressman watched.
I have to say that I completely support PM Netanyahu in his very straight forward and blunt response to the Obama administration's continued "do nothing attitude". Netanyahu is a smart man and he knows that he can't put off a strike on Iran much longer. His nation's very existence is at stake as the mad mullahs in Tehran continue to call for the annihilation of the Jewish state. Of course only time will tell, but I believe we are seeing signs that the fuse is just about to disappear into the bomb and explode in the Middle East. At least it sure looks like it to me.
Please join with me and pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for the peace of Israel. Please pray that the Lord gives PM Netanyahu divine wisdom and knowledge on how to deal with this problem. In the end Israel will stand alone with only God to reply on. It is apparent that Israel's only allies are beginning to turn on her and this sadly includes the U.S. Let us continue to pray as things take place in the Middle East.
