The Rapture Report - Obama has crossed the line

Obama has crossed the line
Written: 03-17-2010
Rapture Forum Staff: Chris

In trying to understand the current situation between the U.S. and Israel over the recent political spat that has severely strained ties, I came across an interesting article that made many good points about the current political problem. The article is from the Jerusalem Post and suggests that U.S. President Obama has finally crossed the line when it comes to his relations and actions with regards to Israel. After having previously noted that Israel's "good will gesture" of halting construction in the West Bank for ten months was unprecedented, the very same U.S. administration is suddenly and harshly criticizing Israel over what appeared to be an honest mistake. I believe that the over-reaction by the U.S. Obama administration to the ill-timed housing plans in east Jerusalem was perhaps an orchestrated attempt by U.S. President Obama's administration to force Israel's hands in the peace process. I think the administration was just looking for something they could jump on the Israelis for. And again we notice that U.S. President Obama's administration never once criticized the Palestinians during this matter, they were completely silent on the "good will gestures" of the Palestinians. In fact, the U.S to my knowledge has never asked for any from them and/or if they have the Palestinians have never followed through on any. This is hypocritical. The Jerusalem Post article reports:

The bureaucratic fashla [blunder] of our dysfunctional government to forestall the announcement of a new housing project in Jerusalem during the visit of US Vice President Joe Biden provided a pretext for the Obama administration to launch one of the harshest condemnations ever leveled against us by a US government. But while the timing of the announcement was appalling, it involved no breach of undertaking. In fact, the Obama administration had previously publicly praised the Israeli government for making a “major concession” by imposing a settlement freeze which explicitly excluded Jerusalem.

In an effort to find out why these harsh and severe actions are being pressed upon Israel, one has to realize that since President Obama has taken office that ties with Israel have been on a steady downturn. This is especially true since the right wing government of Benjamin Netanyahu has taken over power shortly after Obama took office. Netanyahu's government is seen by the radical leftist and anti-semite Obama administration as being a part of the problem, not part of the solution. Obama has surrounded himself by other anti-semites including Biden, Clinton, Emmanuael, and others. Their policies and thoughts have finally brought Obama to lash out although indirectly in the current east Jerusalem housing crisis. While Obama has not publicly commented on the situation, he has nevertheless sent his "leftist hawks" and fellow anti-semites out to harass and torment Israel. This was clearly evident in the latest U.S. and Israel crisis. The Jerusalem Post article reports:

The campaign was personally orchestrated by President Barack Obama. His Vice President Biden accused us of “endangering US lives in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan.” Despite Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s abject apology, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton accused him of “insulting” the US. Obama’s chief political adviser David Axelrod even claimed that the Israeli government was deliberately undermining peace talks.

These hostile outbursts must be viewed in the context of the fact that despite strong ongoing support for Israel by the American people, the US-Israel relationship has been on a downward spiral since the election of the new administration. Former Mossad head Ephraim Halevy attributes this to Obama’s determination to rehabilitate Islam’s global tarnished image.

As many of our readers of the Rapture Report know, I believe that U. S. President Obama is a "closet moslem" in that he is not what he has made himself out to be. Obama likes to portray himself as a fair and impartial party in the Middle East peace talks, but the truth of the matter is that Obama has shown a strong leaning to members of what he termed his "moslem faith". These slips of the tongue back during the last U.S. election are now very clear in the way Obama is handling the Israel situation. I believe that Obama is leaning towards his fellow moslem brothers and sisters, and in turn Israel will take the blow from now on. Obama has tried to reach out to the Islamic world and this of course has been met with utter failure. In fact, Obama's attempts to reach out to Iran, Syria, and other Islamic groups have resulted in him being mocked and ridiculed. The Jerusalem Post article made note of this fact when it reported the following:

Yet his strategy of “engaging” Islamic rogue states has been disastrous. The effort to prevent the nuclearization of Iran by appeasing the Iranian tyrants backfired with the ayatollahs literally mocking the US. The response of Syrian President Bashar Assad to US groveling and the appointment of an ambassador to Damascus, was to host a summit with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Hizbullah terrorist leader Hassan Nasrallah and ridicule the US demand that he curtail his relationship with Iran. President Obama did not consider this “insulting,” prompting the editor of the Lebanese The Daily Star to say that “the Obama administration these days provokes little confidence in its allies and even less fear in its adversaries.”

The Arab League refuses to modify its hard-line against Israel. It insists that Israel unconditionally accept the Saudi peace plan, a full retreat to the ‘67 borders and the implementation of the Arab right of return which would signal an end to Jewish sovereignty in the region.

The hard lesson that Obama has learned is that appeasing the fanatical Islamists and state sponsors of terrorism gets one absolutely nowhere. There is only one language that these people understand and that is the language of force. So far, Obama has not applied this lesson but has instead paraded around his leftist and delusional thinking of making peace with your enemies by saying "pretty please". Someone needs to tell Obama that we are at war with Islam, and that making deals with fanatical Islamic radicals is not the way to go about doing things. Making deals and appeasing these people is seen as being weak, which is exactly the way the Islamic eyes of the Middle East see U.S. President Obama. He has utterly failed and his foreign policy experience which was null is glaringly apparent these days.

In fact, I would go as far as to say that since Obama has taken office the U.S. security has actually decreased tremendously. Since Obama has taken office and applied liberal leftist hand holding strategies with the murderous thugs of the Middle East he has forsaken strong allies such as Israel and offered them on the "altar of appeasement". It was just the other day that the Republican party lashed out at Obama and rebuked him for his harsh treatment of strong ally Israel. Thank the Lord we still have people in our government that are God fearing people. There are not many, but at least there are a few that are trying to right this ship that is slowly but surely sinking. Whether Obama knows what he is doing or not, I am not sure, but I would not be surprised to find out that he has ill intentions for Israel. I really would not be surprised if he is intentionally trying to force Israel into a deal that will only make their overall situation in the Middle East much more difficult and at the same time embolden their enemies to try once again to destroy them.

There is no surprise and shock that Obama and his administration are overly anti-semitic and that there have been many problems between the two camps. The Jerusalem Post article touched on recent problems focusing on the U.S. and Israeli government interactions and noted:

There are now ominous signals that to obviate their failures, White House strategists are cynically distancing themselves from us in order to curry popularity by capitalizing on the anti-Israeli hatred which has engulfed the world. Despite continuously incanting the mantra that it remains committed to the alliance with Israel, the White House is not behaving in an even-handed manner. Obama does not disguise his animosity and repeatedly humiliates our prime minister. The administration “condemns” us for building homes, not in densely Arab populated areas of Jerusalem but in Jewish suburbs like Gilo and most recently Ramat Shlomo which most of us regard as Israel no less than Tel Aviv.

While constantly criticizing and humiliating Israel PM Netanyahu, the Obama administration has not once in the past twelve months reprimanded the Palestinian Authority for a single thing. The Obama administration has continued it's policy of demanding that Israel constantly provide "good will gestures" to the Palestinian Authority while the Palestinians have not reciprocated at all to the Israelis. In fact, I can't think of a single item where the Palestinian Authority has had to make a "concession" in order to promote the peace process. It is always Israel that is having to make concessions, give up this or that, release this many prisoners, etc. The list is endless while there is not a single item on the list for the Palestinians to do. They have not been required to recognize Israel, nor remove from their terrorist charters the calls for the destruction of Israel. Obama and his anti-semite administration focus only on Israel and making them "give up the farm" all in the name of "peace" or "piece" depending on which side you are on. In fact, the Palestinians are not even trying to negotiate with the Israelis because according to the Jerusalem Post article, Obama's administration has told the Palestinians they can have whatever they want:

Netanyahu has extended more concessions than any other Israeli leader. His government immediately agreed to negotiations with the Palestinians. In contrast, Abbas told The Washington Post that being confident that the US would ensure that the Palestinians obtained whatever they sought, he saw no benefit in negotiating with the Israelis. This scenario is now being realized.

Yet, far from acting as an honest broker, the US effectively endorsed most of the Palestinian positions and is poised to pressure Israel into making further unilateral concessions.

In a recent chilling document, reiterated by Biden in the course of his condemnation of construction in Jerusalem, the US assured the PA that the principal objective of the “indirect” negotiations was not peace, but the establishment of an independent Palestinian state and that parties who adopted negative positions would be dealt with “in order to overcome that obstacle.”

I for one am saddened to see out government head down this treacherous path of betraying Israel. The Bible says that God will bless those who bless Israel, and that he will curse those who curse Israel. I'm afraid our day of reckoning may not be far from happening. With the anti-semite Obama administration at the helm of U.S. foreign policy for the next three years and perhaps longer, it does not look good for the U.S. nor Israel. Despite making speeches calling the bond between the U.S. and Israel unbreakable, it is in times like these when we must remember that words are cheap, and that actions speak louder than words. Unfortunately, Obama's actions are speaking loudly and they are saying all the wrong things. It will take weeks, perhaps months before we can make a good overall assessment of the political damage of this recent political crisis between the U.S. and Israel, while we know things are not looking good here in the immediate aftermath of the crisis we will have to wait and see what the repercussions are in the long term.

Let us continue to watch and sound the alarm that the return of the Lord Jesus for the rapture of the church is at hand, time is short and with all the political events transpiring in the world today, there is not much time left. Until next time...God bless.
